John and Marijane are new to Calaveras County, coming from the Bay Area. Johns’ parents lived in San Andreas for the last 30 years. From the time I can remember by parents always had a garden and raised chickens in our backyard. Mari was a caterer for over 25 years serving several school lunch programs as well as cooperate and wedding events. John is now a retired Emergency Dept RN. After Covid shut down the Catering business. We decided to move to San Andreas and grow the food we had to buy for catering business. Mari was rarely satisfied with the taste and quality of the produce. We had two years of test gardens finding out what does best in our hot summer climate, As well as the occasional freezes during the winter. We have fortified our soil with thousands of cubic yards of compost. Our grow methods are organic using a combination of plants and flowers to repel pests as well as bring in the good insects. We would love to supply your facility or Restaurant with the fresh and flavorful veggies your clients deserve.
